Then started doing tasks/bug fixes for the companies app, it turned out not so bad. Halfway through my internship he left the company out of the blue, leaving me as the only guy in the company with iOS development knowledge (only in Swift), so I learned some Objective-C and it turned out it is very similar to Swift in most ways, just with a complicated syntax. During my internship, he mentored me on making an app that was structurized and showed some great coding practices (on a side project written in Swift, not the companies app). They had one mid-to-senior level iOS developer that recreated the companies app in 2 years time (new design, more functionality, etc.), he had great knowledge of Objective-C and Swift, but the companies app was all written in Objective-C. We have trained over 250,000 students on React, Angular, iOS, Android and other in-demand technologies. I was an intern in one company that specializes in finance, I had previous knowledge of iOS development from Angela Yu's course on udemy and was still a CS student in my local university, 2nd year. Devslopes is a community focused, premiere provider of high-tech training courseware. Some of the apps I’ve developed were being used internally :) #FakeItTillYouMakeIt I’ve already developed 7 iOS apps excluding my passion projects. I might not be “expert” in iOS development but I am already confident enough to say I know how to make iOS apps. I failed at UI/UX but passed their developer exam so I got the job. Faking I know how to do iOS apps ( I have a general knowledge about programming since I’m a cs degree ). Applied as a UI/UX Designer at a startup company telling them I also know iOS development. At Devslopes we help people become full-time engineers through immersive training and personal coaching. Was really depressed about my career thinking it’s a red flag for other company and I might not get a job in the future. Try starting for free, before you spend 200. That, or check out the iOS training docs on Apple's site. It's 12 as opposed to 200, and it's 55 hours of video. In this case, it's a highly-reviewed course by a well-respected author. Decided to AWOL after 2 weeks because I hate the job. As with any Udemy course, you have to be aware of the instructor. In my personal opinion, the devslopes academy has helped me to be able to think outside of the box when it comes. I got my first job as UI/UX Designer back resigned after 2 wks because of toxic environment and toxic boss, their design was too cringy also, 2nd job was iOS dev BUT the recruiter didn’t tell me that i’ll be coding in vue which is javascript but I really wanna do native ios although at that time I really don’t know how to do iOS apps. My experience so far, has been amazing, challenging, and tiring ( in a good way). I learned java and c++ in college so I don’t know anything about objective c and swift back in the day. I graduated way back in 2018 with a CS degree, I’m already decided my whole college that I wanted to pursue UI/UX Design career after I graduated because I really hate coding although I’m not bad at it.
